The following are policies for purchasing & adopting rats from Black Eyed Wonders Rattery
We'll try and keep it simple and to the point for ya'll. :)
#1. Reserving Rats - You can reserve rats from us, I'll only hold them for 4 days without a deposit,
10days with one, unless other wise worked out.
#2. I will
be keeping a double waiting lists for each of the rats I have available. If you want to reserve a rat I will
"hold" that rat for you, after 4-10days I will just move on to the next person. Little to NO excuses excepted.
#3. Requests - In your request for any rats from me please let me know what
type your are looking for, in the Questionaire. If you are a breeder please let us know in your request, Sometime we let other
breeders have first pick. Unless that baby has already been Pre~reserved.
#4. Same Sex Pairs - If you wish to adopt a rat from us and do not have any other
rats I will only let a rat go with a same sexed friend. Rats thrive with their own kind.
The only exception to adopting one, would be that you already own a rat of that same sex and can prove it.
#5. Returning Rats - If for ANY REASON you are unable
to keep the rats you have gotten from me, you MUST contact me to make arrangements to return the
rats. I will not buy the rats back from you so please do not ask. If the rats are not returned to me and rehomed
else where, I will fine you with a minimum of 200.00 dollars, if you do not contact me.
#6. Shipping - I would prefer not to ship, seeing how it's 2 hours
to the airport *and 2 hours back*. However, If you pay for the expenses and the weather is permitting I may ship the
rats, only if it is 4 or more rats though. Shipping Prices are around 169.00 *just to ship the ratties*, not including
Gas to the airport, I will discount the prices of the rats.
#7. Delivering - I will agree to deliver the Rats
you adopt from me. However I will require an additional few dollars depending on how far I must go to
pay for gas. And I will only go a reasonable distance. If you live too far for me to go all the way I am willing
to meet you part of the way, or meet a transport buddy.
Right now I am with out a car
so doing this is not an option. Sorry.
#8. Breeding - Under NO circumstances are rats from
BEWR to be bred! Unless you have a contract that states that you may breed them! I will take it to the courts if my rats are
bred without my permission! This is for the protection of my rats, and to help ensure they are not bred for "just because"
reasons or anything like that.
