My Name is Maggie Rider. I was Born September 22th, 1983.
I have owned rats for about 11 years now (1998) and have been breeding
rats since 2000. Since I've been caring for rats I have done a lot of research on health, genetics, and basic rat care. I
used to work with Rattie & Mattie's Rattery, learning all I needed about proper Rat care and Breeding Ethics up until
I stopped breeding a few years ago, due to personal reasons. But I'm happy to announce that I am going to start breeding again!
Due to a few more personal reason we had to shut down when we were just getting
started, but I am now to the point where NOTHING will get in my way again. This Rattery is out to breed the Healthiest,
Best Tempered, Long Lived and well Conformed rats, that we can.

I ask that a nontoxic bedding
be used such as Crittercare or CareFresh. Litters such as Cedar and Pine are highly toxic to a small animals fragile respitory System. They can cause lung damage such Flaring
up Mycoplasma, liver damage, and decrease immune response, which can lead to decreasing our time with our rats. I also
ask that if the rat is injured or sick that it be seen by a vet. All Good caring breeders agree on
those three requirements- (adopt in pairs, safe bedding, and veterinary care). Also when pet rats are going to children under
18 years of age, it's still the parent's responsibility to see to the rats welfare. That the rats are taken out
for playtime every day, have fresh water, food, clean bedding, and veterinary care if needed. I Really recommend wire
cages for better ventilation over aquariums. Cages like these make it easy to hang hammocks and Toys, and your rats
can better interact with you through the cage bars. I love all my Rats and want to see them go to good, caring homes.
To someone who will love and spoil them as much as I do if not more. If you can no longer keep your rat(s) from BEWR then you MUST contact me and let me know and I will take them back. If I find out that you could longer keep
them and did not contact me I will fine you with a minimum 200 dollars, Beacuse I DO really care about knowing what
happens to my babies, I like to know where they are their health and how happy they are.
My Rats are housed in a Wire cage
with good ventalation with Hammocks, toys, and igloos to play and sleep with/in, Old t~shirts, or towels to line the cages.
And a bedding box with CritterCare Bedding.
They get several hours of "out" time a day.
Durning their out time the rats get toys and Treats. Plus nails trimmed and other daily groomings. Each rat also gets their
own personnal out time to ensure they get the attention they need.
